An inspiration in her own right, Eboni R. Meeks, Clinical Director, MS., M.Ed, NCC, LPC, CPCS, CAMS II has over twenty five years in the clinical counseling field and eleven years in education.  Eboni’s expertise ranges from multi-disciplinary planning, project planning and delivery to person-centered, cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral approaches to therapy.  Eboni started her counseling career as an abuse counselor at a battered women’s shelter in College Park, MD.  It was while working with women and children and seeing how they were able to improve their situations to improve their quality of life that Eboni decided she wanted to make a difference.  Eboni went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Howard University in Washington, DC in 1999 and two Master degrees from Wilmington University in New Castle, DE in Community Counseling (Master of Science) and School Counseling (Master of Education) in 2002 and 2003 respectively.

Over the years, Eboni has worked in a variety of settings serving men, women and children to include:  Drug and Alcohol Counseling at a Methadone Treatment Facility, Mental Health Liaison with Community Mental Health (State of Delaware), Youth Rehabilitation Services, Correctional Counselor, Parent Aide and a Mental Health Clinician. In addition, Eboni has nine years direct experience in the educational arena as a Special Education Instructor, School Counselor, Adjunct College Instructor and School Administrator after having received her Educational Leadership specialist certification in 2008 from Wilmington University. 

A community leader, Eboni has participated as a speaker and panelist in roundtables and led various workshops covering scholarships and financial aid, parenting skills, social skills, career exploration, and HIV/AIDS awareness and have been an advocate for children with academic special needs.  As a school counselor and educational coordinator at a level six inpatient psychiatric facility in Kennesaw, GA, Eboni was instrumental in assisting the school obtain its initial full accreditation form the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS-CASI) in 2010.  Most recently Eboni has been employed at various community support agencies in the metro Atlanta area providing “frontline” therapeutic services to adults, children and families.

Ms. ShaLonda Jackson, M.A., (Supervised Therapist), is a post Masters Marriage and Family Therapist. She earned her B.S. in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Savannah State University and a M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. She has ten years of experience in the mental health field providing clinical services to children, adolescents and families. Ms. Jackson has worked in residential facilities, school settings, the community,  and in home-based providing case management services. She has collaborated with various community organizations involved with the clients and their families such as probation officers, DFCS workers, case managers, psychiatrists, family therapist and other mental health professionals to provide a holistic approach to treatment. In working with clients, Ms. Jackson has assessed the psychosocial functioning and needs of clients and their family members, to formulate and implement individualized treatment plans, identifying the client’s difficulties, strengths and weaknesses. She has provided evidence-based parenting skills and psychoeducation to the urban population in Metro Atlanta.

Ms. Jackson’s population experience has included: trauma, child neglect and abandonment, sexual abuse, family conflict, depression, suicidal ideations, anxiety, substance abuse, sexual abuse, eating issues, grief and loss, modifying child behaviors, conflict resolution skills, crisis management and intervention, anger issues and teaching parenting skills. Diagnoses treated include: post-traumatic stress disorders, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, mood disorders, attention-deficient hyper activity disorder, and bipolar disorder.  Within a large scope of relationships, issues related to self-esteem in adolescent girls, fathering, parent-child relationships, and anger management are of special interests. She is passionate about building stronger families and destigmatizing mental health by bringing
awareness to minority communities.

​Katherine Sheppard, M.A., LPC, NCC has been working with individuals with mental illness and substance abuse for the last 8 years. Katherine became interested in counseling after taking a Psychology class at Paine College in Augusta, Georgia. She then changed her major from Biology and earned a bachelor’s in psychology with an emphasis in counseling in 2009. Katherine then moved to California and worked as a Psychiatric Assistant for an acute care hospital in Torrance, California. Katherine relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where she began to work as a Mental Health Associate inpatient acute care hospital in Dunwoody, Georgia. In 2011 She started working with a community agency as a paraprofessional and in 2012 Katherine started working as a mental health technician for an inpatient acute care hospital in Riverdale, Georgia. While working with children and adults struggling with mental illness and substance abuse she decided to further her education and enrolled in Argosy University. In 2013 she interned in a psychiatrist’s office in Jonesboro, Georgia. As an intern Katherine completed all initial psychiatric assessment for new patients as well as completed individual, and group counseling. Katherine Graduated from Argosy University in 2013.  She transitioned to a mobile assessments team in 2013. In this role she grew a new love for mental health assessments and became an administrator with the Mobile Assessments team. Katherine has completed assessments for Piedmont Healthcare, Southern Regional Hospital, Acadia Healthcare and Wellstar Spalding Hospital. Katherine then transitioned into the Director of Admissions in 2016. In February Katherine joined a community agency in Decatur, Georgia as a therapist working in the community. In July 2017 Katherine started One Day at a time Counseling and Mentoring, LLC to assist individuals needing guidance in her community. In August 2017 Katherine began her new role as Program Manager of Assessment Services in Villa Rica, Georgia where she manages assessments at 8 emergency rooms and 4 offices throughout the state of Georgia.

Brandi Aldridge Williams, M.A., (Supervised Therapist).  impacts the lives of individuals and families through her unique approach to mental wellness coaching. Brandi is a post Masters Professional Counselor who specializes in treating veterans and active duty members of the military.  Brandi earned her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree from Howard University in Journalism in 1999 and after a career in higher education administration as a Veterans Certifying Official for various universities to include American Intercontinental University and Harris-Stowe State University she obtained her Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling form Lindenwood University in 2015.
Ms. Aldridge Williams career in mental health began in 2014 as a Group and Individual Therapist transforming the lives of domestic violence offenders and their families in the State of Illinois with Group Interventions, a private practice dedicated to the utilization of the Duluth Model of Domestic Violence Prevention. In 2018 she relocated to Atlanta, GA charged with suicide prevention in the veterans’ population worldwide through her work with the Veterans and Military Crisis Line of The US Department of Veterans Affairs - Veterans Health Administration.

Currently her work with Expansion Counseling Services focuses on community based counseling with a heavy concentration in the adolescent population. She employs an integrative style of therapy that most often combines Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with other forms of psychotherapy. She has a proven track record of success and focuses on helping clients shape their realities. Brandi Aldridge Williams is ready to help you build your reality.

  • Phylicia Cash (Supervised Therapist), has always been curious about how the mind works and how a person’s experiences impact their way of thinking; that curiosity led her to earn a B.A. in Psychology from Emory University (2013).  She currently holds a Master’s in Counseling from Northwestern University (2020). Phylicia first became interested in psychology while taking a Psychology course in high school. Born and raised in Southwest Atlanta, Phylicia’s ultimate goal is to open a clinic in her neighborhood from childhood. When she isn’t studying or seeing clients, Phylicia likes to read books of many genres and bake deserts as an indulgent self-care practice.
    With a background in corporate America and higher education, Phylicia is well-versed in working with people of diverse backgrounds. Teamwork is very important to Phylicia; she is certain that the ability to collaborate with people makes work worthwhile. Phylicia believes that everyone has the potential to be their personal best version of themselves. She’s ready and willing to help you get there.

Taylor Fowler (Supervised Therapist) who recently obtained a Master's in Counseling from Northwestern University (2020). She has experience working in the crisis field via the GA Crisis Access Text Line (GCAL), helping anonymous texters go from “a hot moment to a cool calm.” Her professional experience consists mostly of this crisis counseling, but she is very passionate about helping people with their mental health in any way. She considers it as important as physical health.

​Jamal Robinson (Supervised Therapist) is a Certified Substance Abuse Therapist and has recently completed his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University.  As a Supervised Therapist, he strives to help his clients explore their highs and lows, and all that falls in-between until a satisfactory outcome is achieved.  His therapeutic approach is one that is integrative psychotherapy—where he borrows from Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavior Theory (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Person-Centered Theory. Additionally, Jamal is trained as a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor Level II (#1400), where he received his training from American Alternative Court Services.  Presently, he is working to obtain additional certifications in: EMDR, EAP, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).  If you see fit, Jamal would be honored to work with you (and your loved ones) in providing you with the therapeutic treatment you deserve; while fostering a safe, positive environment for growth, exploration, and education on your mental health.

​LaMisha Moore-Carroll, (Intern/Supervised Therapist) is a masters level therapist with her MS in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. LaMisha Moore-Carroll has a BS in Child and Family Development from Georgia Southern University. She has worked directly with children and families for the past 7 years. LaMisha has experience in supporting clients with a variety of psychiatric disorders from her work as a Mental Health Associate at a private behavioral health facility located in Atlanta, GA. With a high interest in trauma, family dynamics, and helping others LaMisha is dedicated to helping you achieve your desired wellness goals.
