Phylicia Cash, Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) and working under supervision has always been curious about how the mind works and how a person’s experiences impact their way of thinking; that curiosity led her to earn a B.A. in Psychology from Emory University (2013). She currently holds a Master’s in Counseling from Northwestern University (2020). Phylicia first became interested in psychology while taking a Psychology course in high school. Born and raised in Southwest Atlanta, Phylicia’s ultimate goal is to open a clinic in her neighborhood from childhood. When she isn’t studying or seeing clients, Phylicia likes to read books of many genres and bake deserts as an indulgent self-care practice.
With a background in corporate America and higher education, Phylicia is well-versed in working with people of diverse backgrounds. Teamwork is very important to Phylicia; she is certain that the ability to collaborate with people makes work worthwhile. Phylicia believes that everyone has the potential to be their personal best version of themselves. She’s ready and willing to help you get there.
Taylor Fowler, Licensed Associated Professional Counselor (LAPC), NCC, works with a variety of clients, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, and suicidal thoughts. While Taylor works from an eclectic modality, shaping her approach to meet the needs of the client, the main theories she works from is psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, narrative therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She strongly believes in showing empathy, validation, and meeting the client where they are at.
Taylor began her work in the mental health field journey volunteering through Crisis Text Line as a volunteer crisis counselor for 3 years. Taylor then went on to achieve her undergraduate in Psychology from OSU in 2017, and is a recent Northwestern Graduate, obtaining her degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2020. Her continuing education plans include becoming certified in EMDR, becoming a licensed ASL interpreter to expand her client base to the Deaf community, and seeking more education in working with those in the LGBT community. She is presently working under supervision.
LaJour "LaMisha" Moore-Carroll, Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC), is working under supervision and obtained her Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in 2020. LaMisha also has a BS in Child and Family Development from Georgia Southern University. She has worked directly with children and families for the past 7 years. LaMisha has experience in supporting clients with a variety of psychiatric disorders from her work as a Mental Health Associate at a private behavioral health facility located in Atlanta, GA. With a high interest in trauma, family dynamics, and helping others, LaMisha is dedicated to helping you achieve your desired wellness goals.
Daniella O'Garro completed her Bachelor's Degree at Georgia State University. She is currently a Master's student at Northwestern University in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program and an intern therapist-in-training at Expansion Counseling Services. She is graduating in June 2022 upon completion of internship and supervision hours in pursuit of becoming an LAPC and eventually an LPC. Offering virtual and in-person services in compliance with COVID-19 safety precautions, Ms. O'Garro is interested in the treatment areas of: Depression, Trauma- and Stressor-Related Disorders, Anxiety, Women's Issues, Men's Issues, Life Transitions, Coping Skills, and Self Esteem. She is dedicated to supporting individuals in their unique life experiences and giving support in times of struggle through counseling through integrative and unique treatment strategies to the unique needs of each client. Ms. O'Garro is supervised by Eboni Meeks, LPC, CPCS.
De'Oni Dew is a counseling intern working under supervision to obtain a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. She has always inhabited an interest in human behavior and graduated with her Bachelor's degree from Florida State University with a major in Sociology and a minor in Psychology.
She has positively impacted the lives of many through her nonprofit organization, PUSH'D. PUSH'D is a tutoring and mentoring service that promotes the social, academic, and mental health advancement of underprivileged youth.
A lover of education, De'Oni has devoted the last 5 years of her life as an educator and a coach.
Due to her extensive background in human resources, entrepreneurship, and education, De'Oni is very experienced with working with a diverse collection of people. She looks forward to working with you on your journey to wellness.
Belén Guasch (Supervised Therapist) is in the process of receiving her master’s degree in counseling through Northwestern University. She has a BA in sociology, as well as a background in early childhood and the creative/expressive arts. In addition, she has a certification in yoga nidra. She believes in utilizing a variety of healing modalities, unique to the needs of each individual client or family. She has a special interest in grief and trauma work and uses a holistic, multicultural, strengths-based, and person-centered approach, meeting you wherever you are and working with you and alongside you. She can usually be found somewhere outdoors in her free time.
Sometimes focusing on just the problem, is a problem. Nikisha, however, empowers individuals, couples and children to find solutions to their distress, uncovering what makes them uncomfortable and prevents them from becoming the best version of themselves. Nikisha is passionate about highlighting the unique strengths of her clients and helping them adopt an “I can” attitude when battling adversity. Nikisha also has experience working with clients who face challenges with anxiety and post traumatic stress.
Nikisha Douge is currently obtaining her Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University, and specializes in couples therapy, while receiving supervision from Eboni Meeks, LPC, CPCS and an outside LMFT. Nikisha is also a proud member of Delta Kappa Honor Society for Marriage and Family Therapists and an Association for Marriage and Family Therapy student member. Nikisha currently holds a Masters of Science in Human Resource Management from Mercy College and is a native New Yorker.
Hunter Ragland completed his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Central Florida with a degree in Radio/Television in 2018. He is currently seeking a Master’s degree from Northwestern University in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. He believes his background in communication studies will translate effectively into his work as a counselor.
Hunter has familiarized himself with the behavioral health landscape in Atlanta over the past 2 years through his employment as a business development representative at Pyramid Family Behavioral Healthcare. Hunter, a native of suburban Atlanta, is passionate about creating an intimate and empathic therapeutic space for clients seeking a counseling experience. Hunter’s intention as a counselor is to increase client’s internal insight and empower them to implement the skills and actions that foster growth. In his free time, Hunter is training for his first marathon and is an avid yoga practitioner.
